Origins and profile

Afgooey was created by crossing Afghani with MauiHazestrain. Strain Hunters have made it available as a feminised seed after developing it and back-crossing it with itself to produce an S1 strain.

Structure and cultivation profile

Afgooey is an indica-dominant plant with a short, bushy, squat structure. It has broad, dark green leaves, short internodal length, and a thick, strong stem. Indoor harvests can reach up to 900 gr/m2. Outdoor cultivation is equally successful, though it performs better in warmer climates. The plant is resistant and produces dense buds with a thick resin coating.

Flavour and breeder-described effect

Afgooey has a dense, pear-shaped bud covered in thick resin with earthy and fruity aromas, including citrus and tropical notes. The breeder describes the effect as fast-hitting and heavy, with cerebral aspects that make it far from one dimensional.
