LEGISLATION ON THE USE OF COOKIES
The rules for the use of cookies were developed by the Data Protection Working Group of the European Union on the basis of the provisions of EU Directive 2002/58/EC, which were transposed by the Hungarian legislator into Act C of 2003 on electronic communications, which reads as follows:
"155. § (4) Data may be stored on a subscriber's or user's electronic messaging device, or the data stored there may be accessed only on the basis of the user's or subscriber's clear and comprehensive consent, which also covers the purpose of data management. "
According to this, from October 1, 2015, it is mandatory to inform visitors on all websites that use cookies that the website uses cookies. On the part of the visitors, consent to the use of cookies must be given by "action" (see: OK, I understand, I accept by clicking on the "submit" type button)
Description and use of cookies
Important! Cookies are "passive", i.e. they do not contain executable files, viruses or spyware, and they do not access the data of the user's hard drive.
A cookie is a small text file (a few kilobytes) that is stored by the web browser on the computer or mobile device of the website visitor. This information helps the given computer and the server operating the website to be able to communicate properly. Based on this, it identifies and tracks users, thus increasing safe and comfortable browsing. If, on the other hand, the visitor does not want this, he has the option of turning off the use of cookies in the browser settings.
Cookies can store user settings and contain data that can be used for personal identification. Data that can be used for personal identification are data on the basis of which the user can be identified and reached. Such data is, for example, name, e-mail address, home or work address or telephone number. However, the website only has access to personally identifiable information provided by the user. For example, the website cannot determine the user's email address until the user provides it, nor can it access data stored on the user's computer.
Once the cookie has been saved on the computer, it can only be read by the website that created it.
We distinguish between two types of cookies: "session cookies" and "permanent cookies". "Session cookies" are only stored temporarily by the computer, notebook or mobile device, until you leave the given website; these cookies help the system remember information as you visit from one page to another, so you do not have to enter or fill in that information repeatedly. "Persistent cookies" are stored on the computer, notebook or mobile device even after leaving the website. With the help of these cookies, the website - although it does not identify you personally - recognizes you as a returning visitor.
