Structure and cultivation profile
Afgooey has a short plant structure with internodal distance under 5 cm. It flowers indoors in 8 weeks with a yield of up to 0.9 gram per watt per m2. Outdoors, it can grow to 150–170 cm and produce up to 700g per plant. The plant is bushy with thick branches and wide stems, and the buds are pear-shaped, compact, and dense with thick calyxes.
Breeding background
Afgooey is a cross between Afghan and Maui Haze, and is the first feminised seed variant of this previously clone-only strain. The genetic profile is 30% Sativa and 70% Indica.
Sensory character
The strain has a citrusy, fruity, kushy aroma when burned, with an orangey, tropical scent when unburned. The breeder describes the effect as strong, cerebral, and confusing, with a heady and long-lasting impact.
